Event: Military Order No. 59, Concerning State Property

User login

This military order, complemented a few months later by additional provisions, defines State property as any land belonging to a "hostile State" or any arbitration body connected to it. State property is to be placed under the authority of the Custodian of Public Property. Property belonging to residents (or companies controlled by residents) of a hostile State is transferred to the Custodian of Absentee Property. A considerable amount of land will be confiscated in this manner over the next decade.
